We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled caretaker to join our vibrant educational setting in Stockport. As a Caretaker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our school premises, creating an optimal learning environment for our students and staff.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Caretaker you will:
- Proven experience as a care taker or similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of facilities management, including building maintenance, security, and health and safety protocols.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside normal school hours, if necessary.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- previous caretaking repsonsbility.
Key responsibilities
As Caretaker you will be responsible for:
- Open and close premises (split shift 7am - 10am and 2:30pm – 5:30pm approximately)
- manage maintenance
- manage security and facilities systems on site including alarm systems
- manage CCTV and surveillance systems
- overall responsibilities for a high standard of cleaning
