CCR are partnering with an industry leading UK-based technology business centred around the safety of lone and at-risk workers across both public and private sectors. Protecting over 150,000 employees, their customer base includes more than 100 NHS trusts, 150 local authorities, 200 housing associations and hundreds of commercial organisations in sectors including utilities, facilities management, distribution, and care.
The shifts are four on, four off. So 2 nights followed by 2 days followed by four off. The start times of the shifts are 7:30 in the morning and 19:30 in the evening. They are 12-hour shifts. It’s a 24/7/365 operation so this pattern goes on all through the year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and verify alarms via telephone within strict timescales to ensure that, where possible, only genuine emergencies are passed to the correct emergency services.
- Decide on appropriate response actions to incoming/outgoing calls.
- Communicate comprehensive and correct information to the emergency service that are best equipped to resolve and support the incidents.
- Maintain an excellent knowledge of, and adherence to operational procedures.
- Report the system and customer profile issues to the appropriate customer support admin.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 1-year experience working in a Contact Centre or fast paced office or retail environment.
- 5 GCSEs - A*-C.
- Receiving and making professional/personable telephone calls.
- Working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to take own initiative and think independently.
- Computer and systems literate.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Innovative thinker with a positive, proactive attitude and readily embraces change.
- Able to multitask and provide detailed reporting to the appropriate channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Steadiness under pressure.
- Team worker with willingness to share responsibilities
