Job Title: Creative Content Writer/ Junior Creative Content Writer
Job Details:
An office-based content writer position but with some flexibility to work from home.
Content topics will include Motorsport, Supercars, Track Days, Driving Experiences & other types of Experience Days such as Flying Lessons, Spa, Days Out etc.
Job Summary:
Responsible for the production, management and upkeep of website content.
Key Tasks:
To create and publish a steady flow of well-written website text content every day.
Work with the supplier manager/operations manager and senior content writer to keep up to date the product, venue and promotional text content.
Manage content created by other internal and external content writers.
Goals:
To increase the web traffic of new users into the websites by capturing clicks to new keywords.
To increase the ranking of web pages by adding/ refreshing content and increasing the text/code ratio
To increase the page value of entry pages by increasing traffic flow and conversions
Requirements
Must have experience writing website content and be able to provide a portfolio of previous work.
Must understand the basics of SEO and be able to use reporting tools to measure the effect of newly written content on search engine positions.
A grasp of basic HTML is a benefit but not essential.
Any skills in graphic/web design are welcome and would push the salary higher.
An interest in cars/motorbikes/motorsport/aeroplanes/helicopters etc is a benefit but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £18,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
