Salary: £22,000 (a salary uplift will be received on completion of relevant training)
What you’ll be doing:
- Multi-tasking by operating multiple web chats simultaneously without compromising on quality
- Developing strong relationships with colleagues across People Services and work together to continuously improve the customer experience
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes which generate volumes
- Owning issues to ensure the customer remains satisfied and we deliver a positive experience
- Providing support answering our email queries and telephone calls where required
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- You must be experienced in web chat/live chat and able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute with excellent spelling and grammar (assessment will be completed to assess)
- Ability to multi task managing up to 3 chats simultaneously without compromising on quality
- Positive mind-set and an ability to problem solve
- Ability to build a rapport with individuals via chat
- Quick learner and able to retain knowledge
- Strive for quality and delivering your personal best, every day
- Competent in system applications including excel

The Employee Service Centre team
As an Inbound Chat Specialist in our Employee Service Centre, you will help resolve employee/customer queries efficiently and most importantly, effectively, whilst creating a positive employee experience. The Employee Service Centre supports BAE Systems employees across the UK.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to join a busy dynamic team and grow your customer service skills whilst working hybrid between hub and home.
