Job Description
Croft Day Nursery is looking for a skilled Maintenance Person to undertake tasks of maintenance and repair within our nurseries.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- To carry out small general repair’s to buildings.
- Support with the general handyman duties across the nurseries.
- To maintain appearance of house exterior – cutting grass, blowing leaves, tidying driveway.
- Transportation of food and internal mail across the three settings.
- To remain reliable and timely throughout the working week.
- Have excellent communication skills, able to adapt to different responsibilities.
- Have the ability to work under pressure at times.
- Meet all health requirements and pass background checks.
- To assist with any other ad-hoc duties as necessitated by your employer.
Key Skills
- Clean driving licence
- Previous similar experience within a maintenance role.
- Experience in Carpentry
- Prepared to undertake ad-hoc shifts as and when required
- Flexible working attitude
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be necessary for this role, costs of which will be met by the employer.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Freelance, Zero hours contract
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary: Up to £15.00 per hour
